BOKO HARAM ABDUCTS 40 BOYS AND YOUNG MEN IN NORTH EASTERN NIGERIA

                                         

        On the 31st of December,2014, an attack was believed to be staged by the boko haram sect wherein 40 boys and young men were abducted from the village of Malari in north eastern nigeria. The press reports that the militants were armed but did not fire at all in the village.

       According to witness, Mohammed Zarami, the number of abducted persons were 40 male youths between the ages of 15-23. He said that was the total number of youths in the whole village.

        Within the same period a total of 15 men were also kidnapped in northern Cameroon. During that attack, the gunmen opened fire on a bus transporting passengers from Kouseri to Maroua district of the area. The other victims sustained severe injuries which may lead to a possible rise in the death toll.
