THE ERROR OF EGO 3

Remember  man is spirit, not a system of organs
The soul is not the brain, they only work alike
The brain is of the body, the soul is of the spirit
The brain learns from the interactions of the body
The soul learns from the interactions if the spirit
The brain never reads the spirit, it waits on the soul
The soul never reads the body, it waits on the brain

Do not be confused, alarmed or excited, just be calm
The body has its senses as tools for proper interaction
In the physical realm, these senses pick up all the data
The seat of interpretation in the body is the brain
The spirit too has its senses as tools for its interaction
In the spiritual realm, these senses picj up all the data
The seat of interpretation in the spirit is the soul

The spirit and the body would have been worlds apart
But the presence of the brain and soul is prevention
Man is a spirit with a soul that lives in a body with a brain
All the interactions of the spirit are stored up in the soul
All the interactions of the body are stored up in the brain
The spirit's soul and the body's brain dont only work alike
They also work together to keep man and his body in tandem

Now it seems i have seperated the spirit from the body
But really, i have shown their beautiful harmony
The last four verses have only seperated his realms of existence
So that you may also know the world for what it really is
God created all of these, so you should revere His wisdom
You must also begin to realise that He made it for His purpose
And that God is spirit, you should know His realm of preference

Man has for so long forgotten his true identity, he lost it early
He not only forgot who he was, he forgot who he is
Quickly look at the tenth verse of this piece once again
Man on his own is just a can with capacity he is empty
You would argue that man jas excelled through the ages
Well each of the influences has its wonders and ideals
Man waa distracted by the physical realm and exalted his house

Man now lives as though, all he would amount to is of the body
You think he cooked up this by himself? He didnt
He was taught and influenced by the devil, that old serpent
The devil raised a consciousness of the body as of greater value
He tempted man with food for the body and killed the spirit
From that moment on, man forgot that he wasnt the body
All his labours and toils were channelled to gratifying the body

PRESIDENT ELECT PROMISES TO SPARE NO EFFORT IN ELIMINATING BOKO HARAM

        The 72-year-old general, who first came to power three decades ago via a military coup and campaigned as a born-again democrat, has promised to tackle the nagging problem of insurgency in the nation. A day after becoming the first politician in Nigerian history to succeed a sitting leader by ballot, president-elect Muhammadu Buhari promised on Wednesday to "spare no effort" to defeat Islamist militant group Boko Haram.
Despite the killing of more than a dozen voters by Boko Haram gunmen - who had pledged to derail the poll - the election was one of the most orderly in Nigeria's polls.

         Cities in the largely Muslim north, where Buhari's core support base lies, erupted in celebration.They also looked forward  to his timely intervention in nagging dilemma.   

He thanked President Jonathan  for peacefully relinquishing power and promised to continue from where he stopped.

       

DEVOTIONAL:

THE PRICE MUST BE PAID

Bible reading:2 Kings.6:15-17

        After God chose Joshua to succeed Moses, Joshua was afraid, as he wondered how he could ever fit into Moses' big shoes. Tnerefore God came to reassure him, calm his fears and promised to be with him. He said to him in Joshua.1:5 that:


"There shall not be any man able to stand before you all the days of thy life:as i was with Moses, so i will be with thee,: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee".
         Thereafter, he had a smooth ride in ministry until the day until the day the children of Israel fled before Ai. Joshua felt disappointed that God had gone back on his promise, so he went back to God and asked Him "Lord, i thought you said nobody will be able to withstand us. How come we are fleeing before a little city like Ai?" God replied, that is correct, but you are niw disconnected from me and until you restitute and deal with the sin, I will not continue with you".

        If God will use you for great signs and wonders, you must be prepared to make instant restitution. God is about to do great exploits, but if you are not ready to pay the price, you will be a spectator and not a key player.Have you stolen Gods money, particularly tithes, firstfruits and offerings? Pay back immediately! Did your members contribute money for a particular thing and you diverted it to something else? Restitute! Have you been looking at the wrong direction? Restitute by facing the direction that God wants you to take.

      There is a price to pay to be a minister or vessel of signs and wonders, one of which is readiness to operate in both physical and spiritual realms simultaneously. When you pay this price, you will start seeing the invisible. You will not only see angels and heavenly hosts like Elisha's servant in todays bible reading, you might equally see demons. This should not scare you. When you can  see demons, you will immediately see them in any demon-possesed  individual brought to you, and when you cast them out, you will be able to know whether they have really gone or they are pretending to do so. Asking demons how many they are inside of a victim is of no use when the minister cannot see them. Even if there is just one of them, because you cannot see him, he can lie to you. How prepared are you to pay the price?

THE ERROR OF EGO (2)

We have established that man is dependent
But the bible says you cannot serve two masters
That is an established truth that noone can deny
Man had his choice to answer to any of both
But at this point,due to the two kinds of influence
Man was now divided,;we had men and other men
God cannot be mocked; He called out His elect.

Through the generations, we've had these divisions
You were either from Seth or a descendant of Cain
Then it was the family of Noah or other people
Then the circumcised and uncircumcised people
Then the people of Israel and all other nations
Then again we had Jews and gentiles
Now what do we have?Jesus said sheep and goats

The factor in these division is simply good and bad
Only one side can be good at one time or the other
Remember there are only two influences on earth
My subject of discussion is a fundamental problem
Man has grown in the kniwledge of bith good and evil
But its impossible to go up and to go down simultaneously
You head in a direction at a time and switch at intervals

Man with his potentials is just a can with capacity
Until he is under an influence, he can only fantasize
Now i would not deny, both influences have their wonders
Thus you'd have to choose where you'd rather be
As man grew in knowledge, he made sime definitions
As the definitions got many, he drew out some conclusions
From all his conclusions, he raised ideals and cultures

There is this big three letter word in English
Its direct meaning from latin is just a letter
Its EGO, and from Latin, its just I; one letter
'I' is one if the shortest words in language
Yet it gives the complete definition of any man
That little big word contains pages of informations
You alone can fathom to a great  depth its meaning

Man is not his body but a spirit whi has a soul
So the spirit  is the man, the body is just his house    
That should suggest the realms of mans existence
Every substance is suited to fit its environment  
The body to the physical and the spirit to the spiritual
What then is the mind?The seat of communication
The spirit and the body require a common ground.

must love Muslims in a speech at the
Ethics & Religious Liberty
Commission’s Leadership Summit.

     Afshin Ziafat was born in Houston, but
moved to Iran with his family at age
two. They returned to their country
four years later during the Iranian
Revolution.Reports have it that Afshin is now a Christian pastor, and
credits his former English tutor with
leading him to Christ.

    In the speech, Ziafat said, "Racial
reconciliation is not just a good idea
because racial equality is a politically
correct idea, but it's because the
message of the Gospel is at stake. The
name of Jesus is at stake. And so the
Gospel tells us that it's by grace alone
that we can be restored to God.”
Ziafat shared the hardships his family
faced for being an Iranian family in the
United States.
      He said, "It was not easy in 1979 to be
from Iran living in America. We had
rocks thrown at our window in Houston
because people knew our family was
from Iran. In high school, kids
threatened to beat up my brother and I;
my parents' car's tires were slashed."

     His Christian English tutor treated him
differently than other Americans, with
love and respect. She gave Ziafat his
first Bible and promised that one day
they would be able to read it together.
The pastor became a Christian 10 years
later.

ARTICLE:

ERROR OF EGO (Part 1)

Man, made in God's image and likeness
The God-ordained god of the earth
Made to subdue and dominate
To will and have it established
Had the influence of the Creator upon all creature
He gave names that all things created adhere to even till today
Beautifully, he exhibited his potentials only in SUBMISSION to another.

You must have heard about his fall
All his offspring are told about it
From the beginning till the time of the fall
Only man and God his creator mattered
The story of the fall isn't so pleasant, so lets leave it
But something happened in that event
Something that only few have been granted to see.

From that story, we see men have a meal
So we wonder, what makes a meal become a fall?
After that meal, the fall took place
Man fell! Take a quick peek at his profile above
That profile no longer fit his personality
He did what would be his greatest mistake
So he was dethroned! Sad, sad, really sad.

Before we run through our bone of contention
Shall we make a foundation that would help us?
Take another peek, but the second verse now
There two mattered, man and God his Creator
After the fall, it became three, yes a third joined in
Man still mattered, but the devil too now did
The devil took over man's vacant throne.

From the beginning, man was not to stand on his own
He was to control and exercise power and dominion
But only as a function of a delegated power from another
Look at how it all began, that was just his nature
When he came alive, he did--for it was commanded
He was successful, he was a great achiever
Man doesn't have it; we don't have our own power.

Many generations of men have come and gone
Yet all things seemed the same, not much has changed
In the whole story of man, we've had only two changes
One at the beginning and the other two millenia ago
The former was the fall; the latter was a chance to rise
All of our confusion, chaos and instability arose at the fall
When man now had two persons who were greater than he.

DEVOTIONAL:

DESTINIES CAN CHANGE

Anchor passage: Hebrews 3:15-19

         One of the privileges that being in Christ grants to you is that your present situation and your past life cannot hinder your God-given destiny. God has decided your destination even before you were born. Because you are a child of destiny, you will get to your destination in Jesus name. Nevertheless, you need to know that your destiny can be changed by God or by your attitude. Gid had to change His plan for eternal priestly succession which he had earlier promised Eli and his household. Ponder on what God said to Eli in 1 Samuel 2:30;

"Wherefore the Lord God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house and the house of thy father should walk before me forever: but now the Lord saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me i will honour and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed".

    May God never change His plan for your life, family and ministry in Jesus name!

   Just as God can change His mind concerning a promise He made to an individual or family, He can also change His mind concerning a promise He made to a nation. In Numbers.14:26-32,God changed His mind concerning a generation of the children of Israel. God had brought them to the borders of the promised land in readiness to completely fulfil the promise He made to their fathers over 400 years before they were born. But amazingly, they refused to enter in. They did not believe that God could complete the process that He had started. God therefore changed His mind concerning them because of their unbelief. (Hebrews 3:19) God told them that they would not enter into their destiny, rather they would die in the wilderness. Their children whom they thought would never enter the pronised land, where the same ones God now said He would take into that Land. May God never change His goodplans concerning our nation in Jesus name. Unbelief is a terrible thing!. Everytime you fail to believe that God can do what He has promised to do, you tie God's hands and push Him to dump the promise he has made to you. Unbelief is a slap on God's face. People who are not yet saved are referred to as unbelievers. It is understandable why they cannot believe God in their current state. However, the moment you receive Jesus, you are supposed to become a believer. God is not happy when believers who have experienced his ability over time, demonstrate unbelief in Him.In any way you are in unbelief, repent fast and pull out of it.
