NEWS: TRUMP VS CARSON; TAKES THE BATTLE TO THEIR CHURCH DENOMINATIONS

The republican presidential candidates Donald Trump and Ben Carson has finally taken their presidential contest out on their different church denominations. Carson who is a staunt member of the seventh day Adventist has made earlier comments on Trump's arrogance. He says that Trump doesn't like to give God the credit for his achievements. Even though he later apologized for the comments.

On the other hand, Trump who is a Presbyterian was consistently emphasizing his religious stand to the public. In his words he says;

"And look I don't have to say it. I'm Presbyterian!!can you believe it? I'm Presbyterian, I'm Presbyterian, I'm Presbyterian!!!.and that's down the middle of the road folks, in all fairness ". He continued. I mean the seventh day Adventist, I don't know about. I just don't know about!!

Carson responded to Trumps remark regRding his religious affiliation in Ana interview on Sunday

"I refuse to really get into that mud pit. I think that was a huge mistake in the last cycle and I'm certainly not going to get into that, no matter what anybody says. I spend as much time in non seventh day Adventist churches because I'm not convinced the denomination is the most important thing. I think it's the relationship with God that's most important.

Although Trump has been the front runner for the republicans for some time, Carson recently
surpassed him in the polls. Carson is now leading Trump by nine percentage points. Reports have it that the rest of the candidates are far trailing behind.
