 HOW VALID IS YOUR DECISION TO OBEY?

          As powerful as God is,there are certain things He just can't do.YES..you heard me right!! God cannot do certain things. God will not compel us to do His will irrespective of how much He wants us to.Choice is one thing that even God cannot takeaway from mankind.He is a loving and compassionate father who definitely wants the best for His children,but will never force us against our will.Most of us in our unrenewed state of minds make decisions that hurt our maker who unfortunately will not help us then,except by His mercies all because of our disobedience.
That's why in Jeremaiah.29:11, He says;
''I know the thoughts that i think toward you,thoughts of peace and not of evil.To give you a future and a hope.''
      Every believer must choose whether he will live by the principle of obedience or follow his preferences. When a person commits to doing the Lord’s will, then every situation and decision is sifted through the standard of  "God said it, so I’m going to do it—and that’s the end of it." Such a person may complain, weep, or try to argue. But in the end he will be obedient, no matter what. If we are going to be sincere with ourselves,we'll agree that there are times we feel this nagging anxiety of missing out on something good whenever we choose to do our will and not God's.
     The Lord certainly understands our need to question, cry out, and petition Him for the strength to do what He asks. That's why Hebrews 4:15 tells us that we have a high priest who can sympathize with us. Jesus wasn’t excited or happy about the cross. He grieved over the coming separation from His Father. Nevertheless, He was committed to following God’s will (Matt. 26:39). No one took Christ’s life from Him; He laid it down (John 10:18).

     The crux of our existence is to fulfill Gods purpose for our lives.Many people miss His awesome plan for them because they choose to follow their preferences. Obedience is sometimes hard, but in the end we find that the struggle and sacrifice are worth it. There is joy and peace for the believer who pleases the Lord and lives by His principles.

God loves you and promises a life of joy and fulfillment through Jesus Christ. Meet Him HERE
