NEWS:

PASTORS  AND DEACON SENT TO JAIL FOR THEIR FAITH

Pastor Benham Irani,Pastor Matthias Haghnejad and Deacon Silas Rabbani will be forced to spend six years in isolated prisons; Irani will be sent to a prison in the northern city of Zabol, while Haghnejad and Rabbani will serve their sentences in a prison on the island of Minab.

Pastor Benham Irani

Christian Solidarity Worldwide Chief Operating Officer, Andy Dipper said after the sentences were announced, "We are deeply concerned by the six-year sentences given to pastors Irani and Haghnejad and deacon Silas Rabbani, and the fact that they will serve these sentences so far from their families and home towns.”
Irani’s sentence will actually extend 12 years because he had previously been charged with “action against the state” and “action against the order” in 2006.

Dipper said, "We are particularly appalled by the extra six years given to pastor Irani, who has already endured ill-treatment whilst in prison and now faces nearly a decade in prison on trumped-up charges. We urge the Iranian government to release without delay every person who is imprisoned for their faith. Their incarceration contravenes international covenants guaranteeing freedom of religion or belief, to which Iran is party."

hhhhmmm..........How well do you partake in missions? How well do you busy yourself with the master's heartbeat? Most of us hide under the pretence of not being called into the mission field and as such,no diring need to be involved in missions.Like we all know, missions in the real sense is reaching out to those who havent enough truth of Gods word to be free.Abiding within this context,it needent be a distant sojourn into a foreign land or a remote village. It could be as close as whispering the words ''jesus loves you'' to a friend or dropping off a tract as you exit the cab for the next passenger. Now that its the so-called 'computer age' with so unlimited acces to the internet and various social forums,it makes it easier to simply post and upload pictures depicting Gods profound love for humanity on your timeline.yea.its just s simple as that.
Where all these is missing,we still haven't an excuse as not to be involved in missions. Our prayers go a long way in bridging the gap.

''The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much''...James.5;16b
If our prayers are effective enough,we can change the world and cause a constant jubilation in heaven over every soul won for Christ.

And just in case you want to begin a personal relationship with God,He's right HERE waiting for you.
