ELECTION PROPHECIES BY NOTABLE MEN OF GOD IN THE COUNTRY.

So much has been said and done about the 2015 general elections in the country, but we cannot go by any of them except the report from notable men of God in the country. Thank God for the gift of prophecy and foresight!! No wonder the bible says "when there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint".

These men of God prophecied at kthe beginning of the year concerning Nigeria, especially the elections. Amongst them are Pastor E.A Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Apostle Johnson Suleiman of the Auchi-based Omega fire Ministeries, Primate Peter Ayodele of the Inri Spiritual Evangelical Church, Prophet Joshua Iginla of the Champions Royal Assembly and Prophet T.B Joshua of the Synagogue, Church of All Nations.

Pastor E.A Adeboye said;

"Unfortunately because it is election year, i can't tell you all that God told me about Nigeria, but by the end of the year we shall all gladly say "all is well that ends well".

Prophet Johnson Suleiman said;

"I see President Jonathan coming back but with troubles.

"El rufai should go and sit down. For abusing Jesus, he will not win Kaduna elections.
"Aminu Tambuwal, i saw him leading Sokoto State".
"2015 Presidential elections will be rigged, narred in violence and end up in a court case.

"Thank you Jesus, finally a christian is niw the governor of Lagos state"

"Rochas Okorocha, i saw him moving to pdp".

"Contrary to most prophecies, Nigeria will not not break up".

"I saw Governor Amosun return".

"APC rivers state has to do grassroot campaign because i saw the election being rigged for pdp. Prayers are needed to avert bloodshed".

"I saw a man win governorship but not allowed to govern".

"I saw attention in Delta State move to Agbor".

"I saw people who resigned as ministers because of the elections coming back to take their posts in federal ministry.

"Lets pray against military intervention and interim government".

"Presidential election inconclusive, yet Jonathan declared winner. APC pray!!".

"2015 election is another June12, the man who won the election will not be allowed to rule".

Primate Peter Ayodele said;
"This year's elections will throw up a lot of issues. President Goodluck Jonathan will do everything he can to win a second term. However, he needs a 14day prayer to have a peaceful reign in the second term. Chairman of INEC will be confused during the polls. There will be much attempt and pressure to rig the elections. E-voting may not work. There will be faulting and ballot box snatching".

Prophet T.B Joshua said;
"Election will not happen in about three to four states due to the attacks. The violence in those areas will be severe if they don't move closer to God. This may have an unfavourable effect on our democracy".

LARA GEORGE AWAKENS THE "KUSH" LEGACY, REVEALS OLD PICTURE OF THE TRIO

Popular gospel act, Lara George has finally revealed her grievances concerning her group name "kush" which seems to have been forgotten over the years. She argues that its majorly because they are women, that's why they are seen as ordinary recording artist who has made little or no impact.
Kush, at the onset of their musical career

The "ijoba orun" crooner expressed her disappointment as the trio is hardly mentioned when people talk about the pioneers of good music in the Nigerian music industry. She said if we still talk about old music duos and trios like "remedies" and "plantashun boiz", then she sees no reason why "kush" shouldn't also be mentioned.

The group which consisted of LaraGeorge, T.y Bello, and Emem Ema, started off over a decade ago  with hit songs like "angels","lets live together". The mother of three also talked about the active role that women play especially in the creative industry. She hails all women who have been creative and innovative enough to have risen against all odds. She encourages them to appreciate themselves and never fail to commend one another.

DO IT RIGHT

“Therefore to him that knows to do good, and does it not, to him it is sin.”
                                                                                                               - James 4:17

In our spiritual life, our home life, and our church life, we have duties to perform and commitments to keep.  So many times we have allowed procrastination take a better hold of our thought life. It influences our decisions and gradually reduces our effectiveness and productivity. The scripture addresses this by citing an example in the lifestyle of an ant, who knows to gather enough to feed him during famine. Negligence is another advanced level in the procrastination chain. That's what it leads to. We eventually neglect whatever we have been putting away from doing when we run of zeal and enthusiasm. It is always good to strike while the iron is hot as this is the only time we can make any meaningful difference.

The same is true in our national life. As citizens of this great nation, the time has come again to decide our destiny for the next four to five years. The elections are just around the corner. Some people say, "I don't see the perfect candidate, so I'm not voting." If we begin to talk about the level of corruption and gross injustice taking place, it'll be an inexhaustible discussion. We have had terrible leaders in the past who ruled without the fear of God. The least they put into consideration was the plight of the masses. This is not only pertinent to our time. The nation of Israel during the bible times also had series of Leaders who oppressed the people and disobeyed God. But things cannot continue to go on like this. We have to take charge of our future and hold our destiny in our hands. If we don't speak – who's left to speak? Jesus said we're to "render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's and unto God that which is God's." Our Caesar is a government of the people, by the people and for the people. Our government requires our vote.

If a person chooses not to participate when and where the battle is enjoined, then in my estimation, that's disobedience to the Lord. One vote can make a difference. If we don't be the change, things will remain the way it is. So lets go out and make a difference. Shine as lights amidst a wicked and perverse generation.

DEVOTIONAL:
 THE BREAD OF STONE

Bible reading: Matthew.4:1-4

Food is one of the earliest weapons the devil deployed to destroy humanity (Genesis.3:6). Its amazing that he still uses this weapon to destroy the destinies of many. He even deployed this method against our Lord Jesus Christ. After our Lord has fasted for forty days and nights naturally, He became hungry. The devil sensing an opportunity, came to Him saying:
"if thou be the son of God, command that these stones be made bread".
                                                Matthew.4:3
Unlike the first Adam who fell for the enticement of satan, Jesus overcame the devil by the word of God(Matthew4:4). He used the arrow of Deuteronomy 8:3 against the devil. Thank God He knew the word. Of course He is the word of God. Beloved, the bread of stone when eaten will never digest. So beware of the bread of stone in whatever form it presents itself.

The bread of stone can come in any form. For example, after four years of joblessness as a first class graduate, the devil may dangle an employment opportunity at you that included you sleeping with the personnel manager to secure the position."Do it just once and get out of the labour market", the devil may suggest. It is a bread of stone, don't fall for it. It may also come in form of the government minister or the secretary of a government establishment luring you to join their occult group to guarantee steady flow of   contracts. The devil may say "it is just a networking club". Please don't join, because if you do, you may be turning stone to bread to satisfy your hunger.

     Remember the case of Esau, the bible in Hebrews.11:16-17 says this about him;
"Lest there be any fornicator or profane person as esau, who for one morsel of meat, sold his birthright. For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected:for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears".

Your adoption as a child of God guarantees you of meat;it is your birthright. Don't allow anybody or any situation to take that away from you. The devil will try to justify why you need to turn that stone into bread to satisfy your hunger, but remember he is a liar. Such "bread" will never digest in your stomach; it will produce spiritual ulcer and death. May the Lord be with your soul as you wait patiently for God's time and means to meet your needs.

CHURCHES COMMIT TO NATIONAL POLLS AS MEMBERS ARE URGED TO COLLECT THEIR PVC's

Churches in Lagos State yesterday dedicated time to seek the face of God concerning next Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections.
They prayed for peaceful and non-violent exercise, as the pastors cautioned members on how to behave during and after the elections.
Many of the services monitored involved special prayer sessions for peace to reign before, during and after the elections.
At Global Harvest Church, Maryland, Reverend Victor Adeyemi led members to pray for peaceful polls and the enthronement of the will of God over Nigeria. The 10th year anniversary service witnessed special prayer sessions in the two services for the will of God to reign over the elections.
At Daystar Christian Centre, Oregun, Pastor Sam Adeyemi urged members of the church to pray for “those who will fulfill God’s agenda to be elected .” Pastor Adeyemi told his 20,000-strong congregation to pray against violence, bloodshed and for the will of God over the country.
At St. Gerald Catholic Church Soluyi, Gbagada, the cleric urged the faithful to vote according to their conscience. He warned members against getting involved in arguments with anyone at the polling station and also to desist from any form of campaign for any candidate or political party on the day of the election.

At many of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) branches in Lagos, prayers were said for the elections. One of the pastors, who declined to be named, urged the members to be conversant with the electoral laws before, during and after the elections, while he also urged them to get their PVCs.

THE ANCIENT PATHS

Anchor passage:
"Because my people have forgotten me, they have burned incense to worthless idols. And they have caused themselves to stumble in their ways, from the ancient paths, to walk in pathways and not on a highway"
                                              -Jeremiah 18:15

As i read through that passage of the scripture, an unusual emphasis was laid in my spirit on the phrase "the ancient paths". The beginning of that verse describe a rebellious people who have turned their back against their God. A set of people who have caused themselves to stumble from the ancient paths.

What really do we mean by the ancient  paths? Of what relevance is this with our walk with God? This subject of discourse can never be overemphasized in this 21st century. In this age of rapid technological and economical advancement around the globe. Too many people already see the bible as an "ancient history book" of little or no relevance to the modern world. The figurative nature of biblical expressions has made  quite a number of people argue its relevance even to real life situations.

The ancient paths goes a long way in  describing our first love for God and His ways. How we love to tell the wonderful story of our salvation to everyone we meet. We tell of God's wondrous deeds to all that cares to listen. That was when we had a generation of Christian youths who were never ashamed of the  gospel. Believers who stormed every apartment on a tour if aggressive evangelism for Christ. We always rejoiced at the thought of going into the house of the Lord to worship Him.

These days, we christians in the name of civilization have modified ways of doing the things of God. Ways that best suits our lifestyles. We have neglected the sound doctrines of the old rugged cross for crucifixs and gold earrings in the name of fashion. We adorn ourselves with handbands and rosaries that signify calvary's cross but fail to pattern our lives after the crucified christ. We are always involved in one church activity or the other, but our hearts are far from the head of the church. We pay more  attention to our work for God than our walk with God.

Here's a clarion call to return to the ancient paths. That we may become a generation of worshippers that worships in spirit and truth, the type that the father seeks.

LIVING BY VISION AND REVELATION

Bible Reading: Gen.41:38-43

           Vision is the energy of progress and a determinant of destiny.Vision is no doubt one of the most powerful forces available to man on earth today. It gives meaning to life, keeps us alive and conditions our lives. Vision inspired the greeks to produce philosophy and art which still impacys the thinking of our world. It motivated the great Roman empire to expand its influence and develop the known world. Vision inspired the  explorers who circumvented the globe and ignited the creation and expansion of many of the nations we know today. It is your vision that determines your destiny. Proverbs.29:18 says;
"where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he"

True vision is not based on what a person sees with the physical eyes alone, but on images seen with the inward eyes of the mind. A man of vision sees what God has planned for him before its fufilment. Vision entails planning and goal-setting. Every great person in history owned a personal vision. A man with no vision is at best a living corpse. He desires nothing and achieves nothing. Is your life directed by a clear vision? Do you know your potential for fulfilling this vision? Have you developed a concrete plan for your vision? These are all questions you need to answer if you will leave your prints on the sands of time. When you begin to act on your vision, it will stir up both those who want to help you and those who want to hinder you. How passionate are you about your vision? Vision requires faith for fulfilment. Have you built up the faith necessary for your God-given vision? And most importantly, what is the source of your vision?

In addition to true vision, God's people live by revelation. A Christian is expected to operate on a God-given vision and by revelation. Christianity is an intimate growing relationship with the person of Jesus Christ. Every child of God should therefore live by the revelation of the word. We should live by what the word of God says. God expects you to arrange your life based on His word, regardless of whether it makes sense to you or not. God knows what is best for your future, your family, your church and your country. He wants to reveal what is on His heart to you, if only He can get your attention. Hr expects you to diligently pursue your vision and the revelations He drops in your spirit. Actualising your vision and the revelation God gives you requires diligence, integrity, focus, good human relations, prayer and faith. How prepared are you to live by these?

FRANKLIN GRAHAM SAYS KILLER MUSLIMS ARE EMULATING MUHAMMED.

Franklin Graham has once again spoken
out against Islam, arguing that Muslims
who kill Christians are following
Muhammed’s example.
In an interview with the press, the
president of Samaritan’s Purse and the
Billy Graham Evangelistic Association
said, "Muhammed was a man of war and
he killed many people. Jesus Christ
came as a man of peace and as a
follower of Christ. I follow him and I
want to emulate Him. But the followers
of Islam are emulating the prophet
Muhammed, and that's what you're
seeing carried out."
Graham also suggested that Islamic
extremism is true Islam.

"We have to be very careful and
understand that Islam, the teachings of
Islam, are militant," he said.
"There used to be large Christian and
Jewish communities in Saudi Arabia.
But over the centuries, they have been
exterminated by the Muslims. This isn't
something that has just happened with
ISIS. This has been going on for
centuries and has been going on in
Egypt.
"When those Egyptian men [Coptic
Christians] had their heads cut off,
that was not the first time such a thing would happen. It's been going on for a long time.

Previously, Graham sent out a message
to followers of Islam to accept Jesus
Christ.
“I want to say something to all the
Muslims that may be watching this that
are confused and are afraid
themselves,” Graham said in the
message. “I want them to know that
God loves them and that Jesus Christ
died for their sins — and Christ will
forgive them and heal their hearts.”

AS A WHOLE

As Christians we ought never to forget that the message of the Bible is addressed primarily to the understanding; it enables us to understand life.
Because of the Bible, we are able to give a reason for the hope that is within us. The psalmist found the truth of this. In the sanctuary he discovered an explanation for the way that he felt. He was not given a temporary lift that would stay with hand to see it whole. Much of the inner turmoil we go through in life comes about because we do not see life as a whole. Prejudice has been defined as "seeing only what you want to see". People who are prejudiced say: "I have always seen it that way." That's their problem - their eyes are fixed on just one facet of an issue and they will not allow themselves to look at the other sides.

The words: "Then I understood their final destiny" (Psa. 73:17) suggest that previously he had not been thinking correctly. He had been seeing things from a partial and incomplete perspective, but now "in the sanctuary" he began to see the whole picture: "Then I understood". When? Then - when he came into the sanctuary. There is a line in one of Matthew Arnold's writings that goes like this: "Who saw life steadily, and saw it whole." What a delightful phrase this is. Nothing can be more wonderful than seeing life through our different perspectives.

ATHEIST STARTLED WHEN GOD SPOKE THROUGH HIS PRAYER

“I had a very rational mind. It had to be
logical. I needed proof. There had to be
evidence. And if there wasn’t proof then
it was just something people made up,”
Lein told reporters. “Part of the training for
engineers is to be skeptical, to demand
data, to want to see evidence.

He married, got an MBA and launched a
successful career at Intel. All his
achievements and the world that
surrounded him seemed very concrete
and observable. There was no need to
believe in something intangible that
required you to suspend your scientific
mind, he reasoned.

Why would I need God? I mean, if he even
existed why would I have any need for
him , he thought.
But his wife pleaded with him to attend
church, and he acquiesced because he
thought “church was a place nice people
go.” All the while he tactfully but firmly
let people know he was an atheist.
Then he volunteered at a youth camp and
that’s when his skepticism got shattered.
He was asked to pray publicly.
Put on the spot without any preparation,
Lein got nervous. But he quickly figured
he could keep up appearances by drawing
on his childhood memories from Sunday
School and Vacation Bible School. He
would fake his way through the prayer.
But as he began to pray, something very
unusual happened. Words oddly began to
flow naturally from his mouth, without
him needing to conjure up any memories
whatsoever.

The Holy Spirit took over and directed his
prayer for each child! By the time he was
done, a simple prayer had extended to 15
minutes. And it hit the mark.

One girl was so deeply moved that she
began crying.
“In between the sobs she begins to share
that her uncle was abusing her,” he
recalls. “And that she hadn’t been able to
tell anybody else until that moment.
That’s when I think something clicked for
me.”
Suddenly, “God was relevant and He
really wanted to do amazing things in my
life,” Lein says. “I became a Christian that
day. And I heard a voice, and it wasn’t
Charleton Heston, it was more a thought
that comes up and often times it sounds
like Clay’s voice but it was definitely God.
And it said, ‘Try me.'
This experience didn’t fit into a neat
scientific box, measurable by
instrumentation or by the five senses. But
it was evidence nevertheless that
completely upended his skepticism.
Lein began thinking about how God had
changed that teenager’s life in just 15
minutes. What would happen if he gave
God more than 15 minutes?
“A question I had for God: if you can do
that with my life, if I get out of my way
for just 15 minutes, what could You do
with my whole life if I got out of Your
way with all of it?” he recalls.
Lein launched into a new path for his
life. He enrolled in seminary and was
ordained an Episcopalian minister.

SPIRITUAL GUIDANCE

Anchor passage: Exodus 4:12-15

        It brings great pain to God when his children refuse His guidance. There are many believers still living in bondage because they have refused the guidance of God. There are many in wrong relationships, wrong businesses, wrong careers, wtong locations and wrong vocations because they have refused to trust the ability of God to guide them. Many pray for God's guidance, but they refuse this guidance when the way God is showing them seems different from what they want. Some years ago, a brother was asked to relocate from his company's branch in western Nigeria to the northern branch. The Lord further revealed to him that he would not stay in the north for long but that he should relocate first. On hearing that he would return to the west, he began to question God why it was necessary for him to go up north at all, but he obeyed. Little did he know that the Lord wanted to exonerate him from a disaster that was about to happen. After this event, he appreciated the love if God. The scripture says in Isaiah 30:21;

"And thine ears shall hear a voice behind thee saying, this is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right and when ye turn to the left".

If you partner with God, He will guide you in every area of your life for your own good. He will revive from your path those things that look good but the end if which is destruction. If you are in partnership with God, He will warn you of danger zones. He will  warn you against blessings that lead to destruction. He will warn you against marrying someone who will cause you irrevocable loss in the journey of your life. He will show you opportunities which people despise but which possess great potential. There are many people experiencing loss everyday simply because they haven't trusted in the guidance of the  almighty God who knows everything. (Proverbs 3:5-6).
There are times God says "No" to a beautiful request. When this happens, the one asking feels disappointed, but to the one who has all power, there are greater things compared to what is being asked for. In spite if all the prayer efforts you have invested in certain requests, God can still say NO if He has something greater in the offing for you. Have you been trusting God for a particular blessing for so long? I have good news for you, do not be  discouraged, God has something better for you because you are a child of covenant and because you have no appointment with failure. The best is reserved for you as you trust His guidance and submit to His will for your life.

GOD HEALS ADOPTED BABY INFECTED WITH HIV

When Rolyn Cadiz, got a call about
some parents who wanted to give up their
baby, she was wary.
“I said I didn’t want it,” she recalls.
Rolyn was 32 at the time, unmarried, and
very focused on her work along the Thai-
Burma border with refugee children.
She went to meet the parents. “Why are
you giving up this baby?” she asked.
If we buy milk for her we won’t have
money for ourselves to live,” they told
her.
Won’t you they insisted.

Rolyn adopted the baby and gave her a
new name, Zoe Elise, which means ‘life
consecrated to God.’
Shortly after the adoption, she discovered
the dark-haired infant had an eye
infection. She decided she would take her
in for treatment.
The night before they went in, Rolyn
couldn’t sleep. “God made me intercede
for Zoe for the entire night. I couldn’t
stop praying for her,” she recalls.

The next day, Rolyn took Zoe to the
Christian Hospital. She discovered the eye
infection was more serious than
imagined. “The doctor told me if we
didn’t bring her here she could have
been blind.”
Then she was startled by even more
shocking news. Zoe tested positive for
HIV.
That’s when I understood why God had
me intercede for her name.
Rolyn received the test results with
surprising equanimity. “When I learned
the news I didn’t panic. I didn’t cry.”
Very early the next morning, while it was
still dark, the Lord awakened Rolyn once
more. Rolyn stared up toward heaven
and inquired of the Lord. What now God?
What do you want me to do?
Then God impressed on Rolyn’s heart:
Zoe’s life will be a living testimony to
those who don’t know me. And everyone
who comes to know her will know that I
am God.
Tears flooded Rolyn’s eyes. “Thank you
that she will fulfill her destiny,” she cried
to the Lord. “And thank you she is
healed. Thank you that what you
promised in her life will be done.

     After Rolyn’s neighbors discovered that
Zoe was HIV positive, they refused to
babysit or help Rolyn in any way. Rolyn
carried Zoe everywhere, because no one
would watch her.
One of the neighbors asked if Rolyn
would start treating Zoe for HIV. “It
would take money for all this
medication,” Rolyn replied. “I have no
money, but I have the Word of God and
that’s more than enough for me.”
“Jesus even raised the dead,” she
continued. “If God said he will heal her,
He will heal her. I know He has a great
plan for her life.”
The neighbor turned away, shaking her
head, marveling at Rolyn’s faith.
When Zoe was about 18-months-old,
Rolyn took her back to the Christian Hospital to be re-tested for HIV-AIDS.
A nurse in the hallway called to Rolyn:
Have you heard the results?
A faint smile lit up Rolyn’s face. “I knew
in my heart she was already healed,” she
says. Then came the momentous news.
Zoe tested negative for HIV!
“I kept the positive and the negative
results,” she exults. “I know God healed
her. She had no medications except
healthy food.”
After Zoe turned four, the neighbors who
once shunned mother and daughter
slowly started to come around. “They saw
how happy she is. Zoe was always
smiling and waving to everybody. They
called her ‘happy baby.’”

Since I came here God has provided
everything,” she marvels. “People wonder
why I’m smiling all the time. They see I
don’t worry. It’s God who gives me this
joy. All of this is from God.”

CAN YOU SLEEP WHEN THE TEMPEST BEGINS?

"The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but safety is of the Lord"
Proverbs 21:31
The captain of a ship had always suffered severe losses on his vessel everytime he ttavelled on the Atlantic. He recruited different sets of deck and engine crew who always end up resigning due to fear of the ship's vulnerability to wreck. This went on for some time until he met a group of young crew members who decided to take up the job. At the job interview, he asked the men how effective they were and they replied by saying " they could sleep when the tempest begins". The ship-owner didn't quite understand that reply but was forced to employ them anyway out of desperation. When the tempest came in later in the week, the captain rushed to the cabin where the crew slept peacefully as the storm raged. He woke them and started shouting at them when they replied " didnt we tell you on our appointment that we could sleep when the tempest begins". In his rage,he fired them immediately and rushed to the deck to see how much damage had been done. To his surprise, he saw that everything was fully under control as the crew he hired had taken all precautionary measures to keep the ship from wrecking. It was then that the farmer understood what his crew meant with their earlier response, so he also went back to rest.

When you’re prepared, spiritually, mentally, and practically, you have nothing to fear. Can you sleep when the tempest begins through your life? The hired crew in the story was able to sleep because they had secured the ship against the storm.

We secure ourselves against the storms of life by soaking ourselves with the Word of God, being obedient to it and then placing our faith and trust in God’s goodness. We don’t need to understand, we just need to hold His hand to have peace in the midst of our storms.

RELATIONSHIPS:

WHAT ABOUT SEX 2

         A forthnight ago, i posted an article on a very controversial issue in marital relationships- Sex. In that edition, enough emphasis was laid on differrent wrong perceptions that we carry in our minds about this act. Most of these wrong notions were passed to us from the society. Here's more of them to consider;

That Sex is a physical, One-Dimensional Experience.

Sex is just sex. That’s what our society wants us to believe, anyway. It’s a biological need, they tell us, just like eating, drinking and sleeping. And because sex is just physical, it doesn’t really matter who we’re doing it with as long as everyone consents, right?
Wrong!!. When we see sex as a superficial, one-dimensional part of the human experience, we’ve failed to recognize some of its most valuable components. Sex is
emotional, psychological, mental and spiritual. It influences and impacts us on so many different levels. It’s not just a co mingling of bodies, it’s also a co-mingling of
souls.

The more we can understand and
appreciate the multi-faceted impact
of sex on every level, the more our
appreciation of this God-given gift
will begin to grow.

  That We Can’t Control Sex, Because it Controls Us;

This is likely the most widely accepted lie perpetuated in our society (both Christian and non-Christian culture alike). It’s the rumor that causes us to believe that we are slaves to our sex drive. It’s a myth that defines us as hormone-driven, sexually-motivated human beings that either need to fill our sexual appetite or completely starve
it, because ultimately, we can’t
control it.
The saddest part is that there are so
many men and women living their life shaped by this myth. Not believing that they have the God-given power to control their sexual appetite, they remain enslaved to sin, in bondage to lust and susceptible to addiction—which is exactly where the enemy wants us to remain.
But by God’s grace, we have everything we need to take charge of our sexual appetites by disciplining our mind, our heart and
our body. And believe or not, that kind of control is for all of us to apply, no matter our relationship status. Because the very desires we “can’t control” before marriage will be the very desires that haunt us even after.

It’s time to stand strong against the
lies this culture throws our way, and instead learn to believe in sex as powerful, meaningful, sacrificial and ultimately, controllable. May God give us the wisdom to recognize these lies, the courage to speak out
against them and the strength to choose better for our lives and for our relationships.

WHY I DON'T BELONG HERE...(olumide's story)

I was born and grew up into a Christian family, a quite religious one. For so many years of my life I was a Pharisee and hypocrite all together, pointing accusing fingers at various  denominations and playing double standards to please my parents.

I tried changing church once while I was attempting my first degree and a lot of chaos occurred butI scaled through the storm. After several years, I began to feel complacent and  probed myself of a better reason for living.

         I knew I wasn't just a regular child...
I had been seeing things since I was quite little, but didn't know where the gifts came from until i met Jesus Christ. I have died on so many occasions and had near-death experiences wherein i prayed my way back.
My most painful experience was when an aunt died and I was being led to go pray for her...
I requested to follow my folks for the funeral but they refused. For Several months I just couldn't get my inner peace.

Why am I saying all this?

I recently realised I have lost so much interest in this place & things surrounding it.
I have never for once been scared of ...
I am a full time recipient of God's grace and I am not ashamed of doing his seemingly "bizzare" leadings. You'd rather tag me weird, but i felt an inner sense of accomplishment as i yielded my instincts. If you recall the story of Jesus, who was also seen in such light (i.e the Jerusalem trip, Luke2:49)

It is exigent for people to realise that all children from same parents have their "unique differences" and the best one can do is to seek God's help in getting HIS  BLUEPRINT for every child.
