A state funeral was held for Dr. Myles Munroe and his wife Ruthann at 10:00 am on Thursday, December 4, at Bahamas Faith Ministries Diplomat Center.
A report in the Bahamas Weekly notes
the funeral was open to the general public and that the bodies of
the evangelist and his wife was "laid in repose" at the Diplomat Center
on Wednesday, December 3, from 10:00 am until noon.
Kevin
Harris, spokesperson for Bahamas Faith Ministries, said the state
funeral, which was telecast live via radio, was sanctioned by the
Bahamian government because of Munroe's "exemplary contribution to the
island nation."
Harris also confirmed that Gospel singer CeCe Winans performed at the funeral.
